Since January 1, 2026, the VAT on food has permanently dropped to 7%—and perhaps you are wondering: what’s in it for you?
We would like to pass some of this on to you, and have decided on the following special offer: Golden Schnitzel Hours!
All guests visiting us Monday through Thursday— excluding Schnitzel Day and public holidays — during the early evening hours who vacate their table for other guests by 6:30 PM will receive a 15% discount on their total bill (applicable to the entire bill, not just food).
This amounts to a discount greater than the VAT reduction.
Otherwise, general cost increases leave us with little room for maneuver. In addition to energy and purchasing costs, the minimum wage has also risen by 8.5%. We view this development positively; however—since it would have affected only a few of our staff—we have taken this opportunity to raise the wages of all our employees accordingly, as it is high time that working in the hospitality sector becomes more attractive once again.
We consistently receive compliments on our friendly and dedicated staff — who have remained loyal to us for many years — and we firmly believe that the money spent on them is a sound investment and well-deserved.
